What's Outside the Box?

Last week, we sent an email about a new video we posted on our Web site that showed you everything you get in the box when you order the Internet Infomercial Toolkit.

Now, we'd like to tell you what comes outside the box.

When you order the Internet Infomercial Toolkit, you become a member of our infomercial-makers' community.

So what?

It means when you receive the Toolkit and go through all the content that's in the box, you've just begun.

Because we aren't standing still. We continue to create videos, conduct interviews with industry superstars and test every piece of software and hardware we can get our hands on. And we make it all available to our members. It's not just some idle promise. Nor is it just a platform to sell you additional products.

Here are some of the items we've added to our members site just since we launched the Toolkit:

- An Internet Infomercial Maker’s Buyer's Guide [PDF]
Two of the questions we hear most from Internet infomercial makers are 'What equipment should I buy?' and 'Where do I get it?' In answer to those questions, we created a quick list of materials you can use to start making Internet infomercials, along with some of our preferred locations for finding them.

- The Quick-and-Dirty Home Studio Setup [Web Video]
In this bonus video, we walk you through a third production scenario (in addition to the ones found in Volumes 4 & 5 of the Toolkit). We cover the process of setting up your camera, computer, lighting to capture video on your computer--including a tip for making a $5 light look as good as an expensive studio light.

- Using Google Video [Web Video]
Google Video is Google's new 'storefront' for all content video--TV episodes, movies and free videos. By uploading and indexing your infomercial, you make it available to Googlers everywhere. Here, we teach you how to use Google Video to store and play back your own Web videos and Internet infomercials.

- Video Editing 101 with Sony® Vegas® Movie Studio™+DVD software [Web video]
Learn the basics of video editing with Sony Vegas Movie Studio. In this video course, you'll learn:
- Where to get the software
- Editing basics
- How to capture video
- Editing, trimming, copy and paste
- Adding text and titles
- Adding graphics
- Music
- Special effects and backgrounds
- Visual effects
- Filters and color correction
- Exporting video

We've already gotten great feedback from some of our members. And we've got a couple more courses in the works already.

So, if you're considering whether to purchase the Toolkit or wondering whether it's worth the money, remember it's not just what's inside the box that counts, it's also what's outside the box.

P.S. If you missed the video about what comes inside the box, visit http://www.infomercialtoolkit.com/home and scroll about a third of the way down the page just before the Bonus #1 description. The headline reads: 'What's In the Box? Watch this Video To Find Out.'

It's also a good example of a product demonstration video--something you could easily incorporate into an infomercial or let stand alone in another part of your site like we have.
